The Supplementary Educator Programme by Komenda College of Education has successfully come to an end, with 14 final-year students of the college volunteering their time and effort to support the initiative.
These students played a crucial role in teaching and learning at the Practising School, which includes learners from kindergarten to junior high school.
The Principal, Very Reverend Kwesi Nkum Wilson (PhD), expressed his sincere gratitude and appreciation to these Vounteers for their selfless dedication to supporting the learners in the college’s basic school.

He emphasized that their efforts will not go unnoticed and that the college’s management has decided to credit each student’s account with an undisclosed amount as a token of appreciation for their hard work.
Throughout the programme, these volunteers engaged in interactive teaching sessions, designed educational activities, and provided personalized attention to the learners.
Their presence and support created an encouraging and nurturing environment, fostering academic growth and personal development among the learners.

The programme is an initiative by the Management of the College, led by Dr. Kwesi Nkum Wilson. it aims to ensure that learners at the basic school receive sufficient tuition, particularly in numeracy and literacy.
It also seeks to ensure that the school never lacks teachers, thereby boosting their academic performance in the district.
The programme placed a strong emphasis on the early grades, recognizing the crucial period for children’s development.
