
The Management of St. Monica’s College of Education has released a statement alerting the public to an ongoing admission scam.
The college stated they have become aware of two individuals, Adwoa Awukye and Saviour Nyamewu, who have been impersonating the College Secretary and making fraudulent demands for money.
In the release, the college management revealed that these impostors, using the phone numbers 0209861590 and 0505161236 respectively, have been contacting applicants, including those who were not admitted, and promising them admission in exchange for money.

Shockingly, they have even approached individuals who did not purchase application forms, offering to help them gain admission.
The college administration wants to make it unequivocally clear that they do not engage in such practices.
They emphasize that St. Monica’s College of Education will never call applicants to demand money for admission or any other purpose.
The admission process at the college is transparent, and no additional payments beyond the official application fees are required.
To counter these fraudulent activities, the college is urging anyone who receives calls from the aforementioned phone numbers or encounters any similar scams to report them immediately to the appropriate authorities.
According to the college, the safety and trust of all applicants are of the utmost importance to them.
