Information gathered by Coleman Publications reveals that the Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has disbursed two months of allowance to students of colleges of education who have recently completed their studies.

This disbursement was intended to be part of the initial disbursement made by the SLTF to trainees, but level 400 students were exempted due to issues with their data.

While the allowance has been disbursed, reports indicate that some students have yet to receive their funds.

Students in this situation are encouraged to visit the allowance liaison officer at their respective colleges to verify the data submitted to SLTF and make any necessary correction.

It is important to note that for the 2023/2024 academic year, trainees have only been paid for the first semester of their allowances.
