The Student Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has commenced preparations for the disbursement of the 2023/2024 academic year allowances for trainees enrolled in the 46 public colleges of education.
Currently, the SLTF has directed the Allowance Liaison Officers at the various colleges to compile, collect, and upload the details of the first year students onto their system.

Freshmen and women at the various colleges are urged to ensure they have their Ghana Card and other necessary documents ready as they will soon be required to submit them for their allowance processing.
Although the exact date for the commencement of the disbursement has not been disclosed, preparations are currently underway.

Trainees are encouraged to stay patient as the SLTF will initiate payment when the time is right with all the necessary details intact.
With colleges of education reverting to their 4-month per semester schedule, it is anticipated that trainees will receive their allowances accordingly.
