The Ghana Education Service (GES) has disclosed the school selection dates for the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) graduates.
The selection will begin on August 23 and conclude on September 4, 2024, giving students ample time to choose their preferred schools.
To ensure that students are well-informed about the selection process, the GES will commence public education and sensitization on August 18, 2024.

In addition, the 2024 BECE results are expected to be released before September 27, 2024.
This timeframe is intended to provide students with ample time to receive their results and factor them into their school selection process.

Once the selection is completed, Senior High Schools (SHS) across the country will officially reopen on September 27, 2024, marking the beginning of the 2024-2025 academic year.
