The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued a scam alert regarding a fraudulent letter circulating, allegedly from GES, titled “Deadline For The Recruitment Of Diploma And Degree Holders.”

GES clarifies that the letter is a scam and should not be taken seriously by diploma and degree holders.

The fraudulent letter falsely claims that the recruitment process for the university and college of education sectors will conclude on December 6th.

The letter lists several supposed requirements for applicants:

  • Completion of mandatory National Service.
  • Possession of an NTC certificate.
  • School certificate.

It misleadingly encourages potential applicants to contact a helpline to apply, provided they meet the stated criteria and have not bypassed regulations or failed the GTLE exams.

GES categorically denies any knowledge of such a letter and warns the public against calling the provided number, as it poses a risk of falling victim to fraud.
