The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) has announced the reopening date for the first semester of the 2024/2025 academic year.
Initially scheduled for an earlier date, the new reopening date for Levels 100, 200 & 300 is now set for Monday, January 27, 2025.
The decision to adjust the academic calendar was made during a PRINCOF general meeting held in Sogakope on January 8, 2025.
According to the statement issued by PRINCOF, the adjustment is due to unforeseen circumstances that require urgent attention.

Dr. Samuel Addae-Boateng, the General Secretary of PRINCOF, acknowledged the potential inconvenience this change might cause and sincerely apologized for any disruption.
PRINCOF reassured staff, students, and stakeholders that they are committed to ensuring a smooth start to the academic year and are working diligently with the relevant authorities to address these issues effectively.
The conference extended its gratitude to all stakeholders for their understanding and cooperation during this period and urged everyone to take note of the revised date as preparations continue for the academic year.
