The National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, PRINCOF, has confirmed that all freshers are required to report to their respective campuses on January 13th, 2025, in order to begin their level 100 first semester activities.
Freshers are urged to ensure punctual arrival between the hours of 7am and 5pm on the aforementioned date.
This timeframe will facilitate the necessary inspection of their belongings, as well as allow for smooth registration and allocation of halls of residence.
Therefore, freshers are to esnure they report to their college with all the necessary documents and items listed in their prospectus and admission letter.
It is important also for freshers to note that their college life officially begins upon their arrival on campus.

To aid in their transition, the various colleges will organize an orientation service for them a few days after their reporting date.
This orientation will acquaint them with the college’s facilities, resources, and academic expectations.
After the orientation, the freshers will commence their academic activities (first phase), which will span across a period of 5 weeks.

Following the completion of their coursework for the first phase of the first semester, they will break for the christmas from 21st December, 2024 to 11th January, 2025.
They will then resume to continue the first semester from 12th January, 2025 to 2nd March, 2025, and then sit for their end-of-semester exams from 3rd to 14th March, 2025.
Once the exams are concluded, freshers will break for the semester on March 15th, 2025.
This vacation period will last from March 15th to April 26th, 2025, giving them an ample time to recharge and prepare for the next semester.

They will then resume on April 27th, 2025, to commence their second semester, which will also last for 12 weeks.
The second semester will conclude with end-of-semester examinations scheduled from 21st Junly to 1st August, 2025.
The academic year for the level 100 students will then come to an end on August 2nd, 2025, marking the completion of their first year at the College of Education.
