The Ghana Education Service (GES) has revealed that the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has completed marking the scripts of students who took the 2024 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE).
The provisional results are expected to be released between December 9th and 15th, 2024.
The Head of Public Affairs at WAEC, speaking to Accra-based Citi FM, confirmed the anticipated release dates.
The 2024 WASSCE for Schools began on August 5, 2024, with Visual Art Project work and concluded on September 20, 2024.
A total of 460,611 candidates, including 212,954 males and 247,657 females from 1,003 participating Senior High Schools, registered for the examination, which was held at the various centers across the country.
