Professor Samuel Atintono has been re-elected as the National President of the National Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education (PRINCOF) for a second consecutive term.
Prof. Atintono, who is also the Principal of Accra College of Education, has been a prominent figure in the field of education for nearly two decades.
His reelection comes as a testament to his leadership and dedication to advancing teacher education in the country.
He has previously served as the Head of the Department of Gur-Gonja Languages Education and the Dean of the Faculty of Ghanaian Languages at the University of Education, Winneba.

His academic journey is marked by prestigious scholarships, including the Commonwealth Academic Scholarship for his PhD at The University of Manchester, UK, and the Fulbright Visiting Research Scholar award at the University of Florida, USA.
Under his leadership, PRINCOF has seen significant progress, including the ongoing 300-bed hostel project aimed at addressing the infrastructure deficit in colleges of education.
Despite challenges, Prof. Atintono remains committed to ensuring the timely completion of these projects, emphasizing the importance of improving educational facilities across the colleges.
