Mr Benjamin Semenyo Lifeson, a tutor at the Presbyterian College of Education at Akuapim North in the Eastern Region, has been recognized for his outstanding contributions to education.
He was awarded the Most Outstanding College Tutor at the 2023 Ghana Teacher Prize held in Takoradi on October 5th.
Mr Lifeson was selected from a pool of highly qualified candidates. His dedication to teaching and his commitment to his students set him apart from the rest.

He has been teaching at the Presbyterian College of Education for years now and has made significant impacts on the lives of his students.
In addition to his teaching duties, Mr. Lifeson is also involved in various ‘community projects’ aimed at improving education in the college and region.
He is a mentor to many young people and has inspired them to pursue their dreams and make a positive impact on their communities.

He was awarded a 4X4 Pick Up Truck.
The Most Outstanding College Tutor 1st Runner up went to Mr Victor King Ayanful of OLA College of Education at the Cape Coast Metropolis in the Central Region.
Mr. Ayanful has been teaching for years and is known for his innovative teaching methods and his ability to connect with his students.

Mr Simon Boateng (PhD) of the St. Monica’s College of Education at the Mampong District in Ashanti Region was adjudged the 2nd Runner Up.
Dr. Boateng has also been teaching for years and has made significant contributions to education in the region.

He is a mentor to many young teachers and has inspired them to pursue their passion for teaching.

The Ghana Teacher Prize is an important event that recognizes the contributions of teachers to the development of the country.
