The Leadership of NASPA, Central Region, has revealed that the NSS arrears for August and September have been successfully paid to all service personnel.
In a release made on 11th November 2023, they expressed their gratitude to the personnel in the region for their patience during the delay in payment.
The delay in the release of the funds was attributed to unforeseen circumstances, according to the communique.

The leadership again apologized for any inconvenience caused and assured service personnel that they would ensure such delays do not happen again.
However, it has come to light that trained teachers from the various colleges of education having their NSS in the region have not been paid for the past four months.
According to sources, the regional executives have not communicated anything regarding the delay to them.

As a result, these personnel are reportedly planning to embark on a demonstration starting on Monday, 13th November 2023.
They have expressed their frustration at the lack of communication and the financial strain caused by the delay their payment.
The situation with the trained teachers(Service) highlights a potential issue within the NSS payment system in the region that needs to be addressed.
