The National Service Authority (NSA) has issued an update on the status of allowances and arrears for service personnel.
In response to an inquiry on their official Facebook page regarding the payment timeline, the NSA assured personnel that “Allowances will duly be paid. We entreat you to exercise a bit more patience. Thank you.”
The NSA is appealing for patience from personnel as the new management team works diligently to finalize the disbursement of allowances.

Currently, trained teachers from colleges of education who commenced their service in March 2024 have completed their mandatory service as of January 31, 2025. The government owes them arrears dating back to November 2024.
It is hoped that the NSA will fulfill its promise to release the allowances to personnel soon.
In a related development, the 2024 batch of trained teachers is expected to begin their service in March 2025, with PIN codes anticipated to be released by the end of February.
The NSA has emphasized its commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and timely payment process for all service personnel.
