Newly Trained Teachers in Bawku West District Demand NSS Cloth or Refund of Money

0

A group of newly trained teachers serving in the Bawku West District of the Upper East Region for the 2023 service year have raised concerns over the delayed provision of their National Service Scheme (NSS) Cloth.

In a letter addressed to the National Service Scheme, the teachers expressed disappointment that they have not yet received their NSS Cloth despite having only three months left in their service year.

The teachers pointed out that the NSS Cloth is an essential part of their service uniform and its absence hinders their ability to fully represent the National Service Scheme.

They, therefore, requested that the National Service Scheme takes immediate action to provide them with their NSS Cloth within the next three weeks.

Alternatively, if it is not possible to provide them with the NSS Cloth within the given timeframe, they requested a refund of the deducted amount. The teachers believe that it is only fair to receive either the promised cloth or a refund of their money.

The teachers are hopeful that the National Service Scheme will take their concerns seriously and prioritize the resolution of this issue.
