The National Service Scheme (NSS) has announced that the allowances for national service personnel for the months of November and December 2023 have been disbursed.
According to the Management, the payment was completed on Wednesday, March 13, 2024.

In a statement released by the management, it was also emphasized that the payment was made to personnel who have duly filled, endorsed, and submitted their assessment forms for the specified months, and have completed their biometric verification process at their respective NSS District Offices.
These personnel can access their allowances through the E-Zwich system at their selected banks nationwide starting from Friday, March 15, 2024.

Recognizing the frustrations faced by the national service personnel, the NSS Management assured them that they are working diligently to resolve the delay in the payment of allowances for January and February.
According to them, steps are already in motion, and they are confident that the arrears will be cleared in the shortest possible time.
Furthermore, Management expressed its gratitude towards the national service personnel for their patience and cooperation during this challenging period.

They reassured personnel that subsequent monthly allowances will be paid on time moving forward.
