The Governing Council of Wesley College of Education has announced the appointment of Mr. Kennedy Ameyaw Baah as the new principal of the college.
The appointment, effective as of January 21, 2024, has been met with excitement and jubilation from the student body and the entire college community.

Having previously served as the acting principal, Mr. Baah established a warm and familial relationship with the students and tutors, earning their admiration for his kindness, discipline, and dedication.
This close bond with the students and tutors, characterized by his approachable nature and friendly demeanour, has earned him praise as a strong, disciplined, and caring leader.

During his time as the acting principal, Mr Baah achieved various milestones, including;
- the promotion as the first chief tutor among public colleges of Education in the country,
- leading the debate club of the college to victory in a prestigious competition,
- securing funding for the completion of the college’s Science laboratory
- introducing new subjects like Elective Maths and ICT,
- implementing stringent financial controls
- led the successful century anniversary celebration
- secured Ghana Gas company sponsorship of one million Ghana cedis (1,000,000.00) to construct the first phase of a 3 storey, 2 bedroom semi-detached staff bungalow and more
With a background rich in experience and expertise in the field of education, his appointment as the principal is anticipated to bring about more positive changes and propel Wesley College of Education to new levels of success.
