Ministry of Education Debunks Fake News attributed to Deputy Minister

The Ministry of Education has issued a press release urging the public to disregard fake news cards circulating on social media falsely attributed to Deputy Minister for Education, Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour.

In the statement released on October 27, 2024, the Ministry confirmed that no such statement had been authored by Hon. Rev. John Ntim Fordjour at any time.

The Ministry debunked the news cards as malicious and false, clarifying that the Deputy Minister’s public statements have always been courteous and made with circumspection.

The general public is hereby entreated to disregard and treat this with the contempt it deserves.

The Ministry emphasized that the originators of the fake news were motivated by malice and urged the public to treat the publications with contempt.

The general public is advised to ignore the false news cards and not to believe any information attributed to the Deputy Minister that does not come directly from official channels.
