The management of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has issued a stern warning to its first-year and continuing students who have not yet undergone their mandatory medical examination.
In a recent communique, the university management stated that students who fail to complete the medical examination will not be allowed to take their mid-semester exams.

The statement emphasized the importance of the medical examination, reminding students that their admission to the university is contingent upon being declared medically fit by the University Director of Medical Services.
According to the communique, as of February 6, 2024, only 4,743 out of a total of 16,028 registered students on the main campus have completed their medical examinations.

All students were urged to prioritize their medical examinations to ensure compliance with university regulations.
The communique again specified that students must present their medical examination certificates for verification before they can participate in the mid-semester exams for the 2023/2024 academic year.

Failure to do so will result in students being barred from taking the exams.
