The Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) has officially announced the commencement of the sale of application e-vouchers for Degree/Top-Up Programs for the 2024/2025 academic year.

Prospective applicants and the general public are hereby informed of the availability of these e-vouchers.

Eligibility Criteria for Application

WASSCE/SSSCE Holders: Candidates with credits in English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, and three elective subjects with an aggregate score of 24 or better.

GBCE Holders: Individuals who have passes in English Language, Mathematics, and three elective subjects.

Advanced Level Holders: Those with credits in at least five subjects at GCE ‘O’ Level, including English Language and Mathematics, and three passes at the Advanced Level.

ABCE Holders: Applicants with relevant passes in compulsory and optional subjects or equivalent qualifications.

Mature Students: Candidates aged 25 years or above with specific GCE ‘O’ Level credits and successful completion of an entrance examination/interview.

HND Holders: Individuals with three years of relevant working experience in addition to minimum entry requirements.

Application Process and Fees

Cost: Ghanaian applicants – GH¢ 250.00, Foreign applicants – USD 150.00.

Guidelines: Ghanaian applicants must purchase e-vouchers from Ghana post offices.

Foreign applicants should generate e-vouchers from the university’s website https://apps.knust.edu.gh/admissions/

Submission: Two copies of the online application and relevant documents must be submitted.

Foreign applicants should send completed applications by post to the Deputy Registrar (Academic Affairs) at KNUST, Kumasi, Ghana.

Deadline: Mature and Top-Up program applications close on July 31, 2024.

Important Notes

Language Requirement: French-speaking applicants must provide a minimum one-year English Proficiency Certificate.

Delivery: Hand-delivered applications will not be processed.

Completion: Incomplete applications will not be considered for processing.
