PRINCOF Disregards Publication on Postponement of Reopening Date for Second-Year Trainees

The Conference of Principals of Colleges of Education, Ghana (PRINCOF) has issued a statement refuting our earlier publication that claims the reopening date for Level 200 students had been postponed to Wednesday, August 30, 2023.

According to PRINCOF, the reopening date of August 27, 2023, remains unchanged for Level 200 students across all 46 public Colleges of Education in Ghana.

PRINCOF acknowledged the impact of the absence of tutors from classrooms since August 1, 2023 on teaching and learning in the Colleges of Education.

However, they expressed confidence that the issue would be resolved soonest.

The statement further appealed to academic staff to call off their strike and return to classrooms in the interest of students, while they continues engagements with all parties to resolve outstanding issues.

We therefore urge students, parents, and the general public to disregard our earlier publication regarding the postponement of the resumption date. We regret any inconviences caused.
