Colleges of Education in Ghana have a comprehensive guideline for applicants to complete their online application process smoothly.

It is crucial for aspiring students to follow these instructions carefully to ensure their applications are processed correctly.

To begin the process, applicants should visit the admission website https://admission.coeportal.edu.gh/cardlogin.aspx and enter their unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) from the voucher they purchased.

  • Applicants are advised to read and ensure that they fully understand all relevant instructions especially programmes offered in a particular college before completing the application form.
  • Applicants are to also note that application forms which are not properly completed will not be processed.
  • Applicants should select 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of three Colleges of Education in order of their preference for their programme of study, and must select any one of the Ghanaian Languages offered in a particular college.

  • After completing the online application form, an applicant will need to print a copy which should be sent with one passport photograph and copy/copies of their results slip(s) (where available) by EMS priority envelope obtainable from Ghana Post nationwide and addressed to: The Principal of the applicant’s first College of choice.
  • Applicants will be notified of the receipt of their applications by SMS (text message) and should therefore provide correct and reliable mobile phone numbers when completing the application form online.
  • Applicants will also receive admission offer notifications by SMS and those who do not receive such notifications may understand it to mean that their applications were not successful.

For validation purposes, the Colleges of Education will verify the authenticity of the submitted results from the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) as part of the admission process.

Any applicant found to have submitted fake or falsified documents will face legal consequences.
