The Ghana Education Service has announced the rescheduling of the reopening date for Form One students from 18th September to 25th September 2023.
In a letter addressed to all Heads of Senior High and Senior High Technical Schools, the management of the Ghana Education Service requested that Regional Directors of Education communicate this information to their respective schools.

This is to ensure that all parents, guardians and students are aware of the new date and are able to make the necessary preparations.
The rescheduling of the reopening date has been met with mixed reactions from various stakeholders in the education sector.
While some have welcomed the decision, others have expressed concerns about the impact it may have on the academic calendar.
Despite these concerns, the Ghana Education Service has assured all stakeholders that it is committed to ensuring that the academic calendar is not unduly disrupted.

The management of the service has also urged all schools to work together to ensure that students are able to catch up on any missed work and remain on track with their studies.
