The Ghana Education Service has decided to suspend the acceptance of applications for teaching vacancies at the Senior High Schools in the Asanti Region.
The announcement of the suspension was made through a letter issued on 2nd October 2023 by the management of the Regional Education Directorate in Ashanti.
The decision to suspend the applications comes as a surprise to many basic school teachers who were eagerly seeking opportunities to join the teaching profession at the senior high school level.

The management of the Regional Education Directorate expressed regret for any inconvenience caused by the suspension of applications.
While the reasons behind this suspension remain unclear, it is expected that further information will be provided in due course to shed light on this matter.
