GES Resumes Recruitment Process for Qualified Teachers

The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced the resumption of the recruitment process for qualified teachers, following the resolution of issues surrounding their Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) details.

In a letter dated October 31, 2024, addressed to all Regional Directors of Education, the Director-General of GES, Dr. Eric Nkansah, confirmed that the master list has been updated to reflect only qualified candidates.

Therefore, all regional directors have been instructed to resume the recruitment process for those who have already received their appointment letters.

The process will recommence on November 7, 2024, and conclude on November 9, 2024.

Recruits (College of Education) are instructed to report to their respective regional education offices with original appointment letters and valid identification.

The GES has apologized for the delay and inconvenience caused by the GILE-related issues, expressing gratitude for the patience and understanding of affected candidates.
