The Management of the Ghana Education Service (GES) has directed all Regional Directors to issue letters of promotion to both teaching and non-teaching staff who have been promoted to lower ranks.
Additionally, the management has instructed the directors to conduct promotion interviews and work inspections for staff members who were promoted on or before 2018.
The effective date of these promotions and upgrades is set for June 3rd, 2022. GES added that there will be no payment of salary arrears as the staff members have already been placed on the appropriate salary scale.

To implement these directives, Regional Directors are requested to inform the concerned staff members accordingly.
Furthermore, the results of the promotion interviews are to be submitted to the Director-General of GES no later than November 17, 2023.
It is expected that these measures will be implemented efficiently and with the utmost professionalism to ensure the smooth functioning of the educational system.
