Gambaga College of Education Announces Commencement of Monitoring of Level 400 Interns

The Gambaga College of Education (GACOE) has announced that it will be conducting regular monitoring of all Level 400 students currently participating in their out-program (internship) starting on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

The announcement was made in a statement released by the College Secretary, Dr. Yakubu Abdulai, on behalf of the management.

According to the statement, the monitoring exercise aims to ensure the effectiveness of the internship program and provide support to the student teachers.

The monitoring will involve three key components:

  • Interaction with partner schools’ management
  • Inspection of mentees’ attendance
  • Identification of mentees’ challenges

The college has advised all Level 400 students to ensure they are regular and punctual at their respective teaching posts both during and after the monitoring period.

The statement concluded, “All are kindly advised to be regular and punctual at post during and after the monitoring.”
