The three Teacher Unions; the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT), the National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT), and the Coalition of Concerned Teachers-Ghana (CCT-Ghana), have also called off their strike action which commenced on Wednesday, March 20.
This development comes as a result of the National Labour Commission (NLC) securing an interim injunction to halt the industrial action.
The injunction paves the way for negotiations to take place and seeks to resolve the dispute amicably.
