Fees For the GTLE Resit and New Registrations

The National Teaching Council (NTC) will soon open its registration portal for the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) for both resitters and new( Freshers) candidates, scheduled to take place in April 2025

The examination is aimed at providing an opportunity for individuals who failed previously to retake the test and for freshers (new candidates) to as well take their papers in order to obtain their teaching license.

Registration Fees For Resit

The fees for the resit vary according to the number of papers an individual is planning to retake.

Candidates looking to resit one paper will be charged GHC 150.00, while those intending to resit two papers will have to pay GHC 210.00.

For candidates retaking three papers, the fee is set at GHC 385.00

Registration Fees for Freshers

Freshers, on the other hand, will be required to pay a registration fee of GHC450.00 for the 2025 exams.

Additionally, there will be an indexing fee of GHC 50.00

How to Register

Individuals interested in resitting the GTLE and new candidates are advised to visit the official website of the NTC at https://exams.ntc.gov.gh/ to commence their registration process.

The registration span from January to March, 2025

Purchasing a GTLE Voucher/ Indexing

To purchase a GTLE (April 2025) voucher, candidates can visit any Prudential Bank branch nationwide.

Alternatively, they can dial *772*51# to use mobile money for the purchase.
