In a recent update on his official Facebook page, Dr. Eric Nkansah, Director-General of the Ghana Education Service (GES), addressed the concerns of graduates with ‘Pending for Consideration’ status in the 2024 GES graduates recruitment exercise.

On January 1, 2025, he reassured affected graduates that his office is actively working to secure the necessary financial and administrative clearance to finalize their recruitment.

Responding to an applicant’s plea, Dr. Nkansah emphasized the importance of patience while the GES seeks the required approvals.

The post read, “Kindly be patient as we secure clearance to recruit applicants pending for consideration. Thank you.”

His statement has sparked optimism among graduates, many of whom now feel their concerns are being taken seriously by the GES leadership.

The 2024 GES recruitment process has seen numerous calls from applicants for expedited action.

This public acknowledgment from Dr. Nkansah is the first direct response of the new year, signaling a commitment to resolving the backlog of pending applications.
