Diplomats Authorized to Write Licensure Exam for Traditional Subjects

The National Teaching Council (NTC) has granted permission for diplomats to take the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE) for traditional subjects.

This decision was announced in a letter dated 16th April, 2024, by the Council.

The Council has therefore urged all training institutions to promptly upload the details of qualified diplomats on the NTC’s portal at https://indexing.ntc.gov.gh/.

The required information should be submitted in an excel format and include the individual’s;

  • Index number
  • Surname
  • middle name
  • first name
  • date of birth
  • sex
  • programme
  • programme qualification
  • year of admission
  • year of graduation
  • class
  • email address
  • telephone number.

The Council has emphasized the urgency of this matter and has stated that registration for the examination is already open.

The Training institutions have been given until Monday, April 22, 2024, to comply with the request.

NOTE

It should be noted that this registration is for re-sit and fresh diploma candidates of the traditional GTLE.

All fresh diploma candidates are to confirm their status at https://indexing.ntc.gov.gh/ before registering.

Deadline for registration is Monday, April 29, 2024
