The West African Examinations Council (WAEC) has officially confirmed the subjects that will feature in the 2024 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE).
The list of confirmed subjects for the BECE 2024 includes common core subjects that all candidates are required to take.

These subjects are as follows:
- Core Mathematics
- Integrated Science
- Social Studies
- English Language
- Creative Arts and Design
- Computing
- Career Technology
- Religious and Moral Education.
Additionally, students will have the option to choose one “elective subject” from the following:
- Arabic
- Ghanaian Language
- French
The BECE 2024 examinations are scheduled to take place from the 8th to the 12th of July, 2024.
