The Students Loan Trust Fund (SLTF) has issued a warning to all beneficiaries to be wary of scammers posing as SLTF representatives.
According to the SLTF, scammers are attempting to deceive borrowers into taking loans.
“Beware of scams! Scammers are posing as Students Loan Trust Fund to deceive you into taking loans,” the statement reads

The SLTF emphasized that it is not affiliated with any Xpress Loan Scheme and does not recognize this organization.
“The Students Loan Trust Fund is NOT in collaboration with the Xpress Loan Scheme, and does not recognize this organization”
Beneficiaries are therefore urged to remain vigilant in order not to fall for such a scam.

Borrowers were again urged to verify the identity of anyone requesting any sensitive information or financial transactions from them.
” Don’t fall for it! Verify the identity of anyone requesting sensitive information or financial transactions”
Additionally, they urged beneficiaries to report any suspicious activity to them immediately.

They emphasized that they do not request any money from students during or after the loan application process. Any individual or entity claiming otherwise is likely a scam.
