Many students who applied as awaiting students for the 2024/2025 colleges of education admissions are anxiously awaiting their fate as they wonder if they will be admitted without their WAEC results being released.
Many have reached out to our front desk with a lot of questions, and we want to use this article to provide some enlightenment.
The colleges of education have already closed their admission applications and began issuing admission notices on Monday, October 7, 2024.

Qualified applicants are expected to start school on November 18, 2024. With WAEC results yet to released (no timeframe stated), those selected for admission may have already started their academic activities by then.
This leaves students who applied as “awaiting results” with little chance of being admitted, as the colleges of education will not wait for WAEC results before issuing admission notices.

This shows that all those who applied as awaiting results have no chance since their results won’t be ready when the colleges start issuing admission notices.
