Admissions: KNUST, UCC, Legon, and Nursing Stop Accepting Hard Copy Application Forms; College of Education Makes Exception

KNUST

In a notice released by the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), it has been announced that the university will not be accepting any hard copy submissions of application forms for the academic year 2024/2025.

The university has transitioned to a fully online application process and applicants are required to submit all necessary documents through the online portal.

However, applicants are advised to print a copy of their submitted application for their own records until the admission list is released.

UCC

Similarly, the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has also announced that they will not be accepting any hard copy applications this year, following the trend of other universities.

All application forms must be submitted online and applicants are instructed to keep a printed copy of their submission until the admission list is published.

LEGON

The University of Ghana, also known as Legon, has reiterated its stance on not accepting hard copy application forms.

As with previous years, all application processes are conducted online and applicants are advised to retain a copy of their submission for reference until the admission list is made public.

NURSING

In addition to these universities, the Nursing Training Colleges have also adopted an online application system only.

Those interested in pursuing a nursing career are required to submit all necessary documents online and print a copy for their own reference.

COLLEGES OF EDUCATION

However, it is important to note that the College of Education has made an exception to this new norm.

After submitting their applications online, applicants are required to send a hard copy of their application form via the post office.

It is essential for applicants to post their applications to their first choice of school selected during the application process.

Any application not posted to the first choice is considered null and void.

Prospective education students are urged to take note of this requirement.

REFERENCE NUMBER

Regardless of the institution, all applicants will receive a reference number upon submission of their applications.

Applicants are to keep their reference numbers safe until the admission lists are released as it will serve as a reference throughout the admissions process.
