The Ministry of Education has announced the release of the 2024 Computerized School Selection and Placement System (CSSPS) results for Senior High Schools and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Institutions.
Out of the 553,155 candidates who qualified for placement, 104,918 students could not be placed in any of their chosen schools.
These students are now encouraged to visit the Self-Placement portal to select a school of their choice.

To do self-placement, students must follow the steps outlined below:
- Visit the portal at https://cssps.gov.gh/placement.html and enter your details (Index Number and add 24 to it)
- If you were automatically unmatched, you will be redirected to the self-placement portal
- Select region, residential preference, school, and program on the portal.
- Submit and print the form.
- Visit the chosen school to begin the admission process.
Remember, Students can change their selected schools’ multiple times on the self-placement portal until they enroll in a school.

It is important to note that all schools with vacancies are available for selection free of charge.
