Text:
Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23
Who said God is far from you? Who said you must scream and shout before God hears you?, Hmm mercy. Many are with the mindset that, God is far from them and has hidden His face from them.
This is never true and will never be true as long as the Truth lives. Some preachers Quote some portion of the Old Testament hide(Shadow) to defend this without looking at what Jesus(the reality) came to do concerning it.
It’s an abomination for God to Hid His face from the new creation whom He has infused in them His spirits. O yeah!
God hiding His face from the new creation means He is Hiding from Himself. And how can God hide from Himself? It’s not possible! God himself revealed this to Ezekiel an old-time prophet! Look at what the Lord said,
And I Will Not Hide My Face Anymore From Them, When I Pour Out My Spirit Upon The House Of Israel, declares the Lord GOD. (Ezekiel 39:29)
Look at that! This was the Almighty God talking here. God said “He will not hid His face from us when He pour His spirit on us.” So the question is, Has he poured His spirit on us? The answer is an award winning Yes. He has! (Read Act 2: 1-4). Hallelujah!! So God can not hide His face from His people! This is the truth and not a fact!
So now watch this, when the angel of God appeared to Joseph in the dream, Look at what He said,
behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. Matthew 1:23
Can you see what am seeing? He said exactly what was recorded in Ezekiel! But he made it plain! The child is called EMMANUEL, meaning God is with us and not God will be with us.
Beloved, Don’t be deceived, God is with you. He is never far away from you. He is closer to you more than the cloth that you wear. You don’t need to shout before He hears you. Stop those childish attitude and grow in truth.
