Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17)There are many problems and challenges that many Christians are facing in our era that are not from demons and witches but its from Lack of knowledge and a wrong perspective view of whom they are in Christ. !
Now watch this, Lack of knowledge is at it highest peak in the christiandorm because of our inability to study! Many are being lure by religious men to believe In things which are not to be believed. Mercy! These falsifications can only be uprooted in the lives of many when they are ready to let them go and cling to the authentic message which is the Gospel of Grace.
Our opening verse for today reads: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. (2 Corinthians 5:17). Look at the bolded text well. This is Apostle Paul talking. He said, IF ANYONE IS IN CHRIST HE IS A NEW CREATION!. This is wonderful! You are a new being! Which means you have never existed before, you existed the very day you accepted Christ Jesus into your life! This is very deep. It means if I was carrying a curse before I accepted Christ, the curse will flee me after accepting Him. O yeah! Simply because He(Jesus) bored all curses unto himself on the cross. Accepting Him makes me become a new person who is just existing and the curse can’t locate me when it tries. This is wonderful.
If demons and witches were tormenting you before accepting Christ, they can’t this time around ! Listen to me, Apostle Paul used the word new. And new is new. Someone is asking but minister Coleman, I have accepted Christ yet there is no newness in my life. Just relax for me OK, I will talk about that in my subsequent messages.
Now watch this, majority will quote this verse often and yet still be praying against ancestral curses and Generational curses including family curses, then what new creation are you? No! It’s time you discover your stand in Christ. Religion will always pull you back.
Religion will always take you out of your comfort zone to a confused zone if you don’t know your right from left in Christ. We claim we are new creatures yet fighting with demons? Then what kind of new creature are we ?
A new creation to fight demons and ancestral curse? Hey! Those Nonsense must stop. Listen to what Apostle Peter said:
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;- 1 Peter 2:9
Look at that! Were we called and make new to fight demons? Emphatically No! We are chosen to proclaim His praise! O Glory! It’s that simple.
But Mr. Preacher will quote these verses and still ask the congregation to pray against Demons, witches, ancestral curse and what have you. It’s time you get it clear. Coming to Christ makes you a new man who has never existed before.
