Do Not Pay Money To Secure A School Placement – GES

The Management of Ghana Education Service (GES) has informed the general public that preparations are ongoing for the release of Senior High School placement for the 2023/24 academic year.

In a release by the Management on Sunday, 29th January 2023, the general public was cautioned not to fall prey to deceitful persons that will approach them as officials demanding money from them for placement.

Without mincing words, GES stated the 2023 school Selection and placement process is purely on merit and no other consideration whatsoever.

Prospective Senior High School students, parents/guardians, and the general public are hereby cautioned against any form of payment to such unscrupulous individuals, offering to secure their preferred choice of school during this Computerised School Placement into Senior High/TVET Schools. Such persons are to be reported immediately to the Police.

The Ministry further assured the public of a transparent, equitable, and merit-based placement process under the established guidelines.
