The Head Office of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana requests a qualified person for immediate employment to the position of: ADMINISTRATIVE SECRETARY

Job Purpose:

Provide professional administrative and managerial support services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Keep accurate records and a proper filing system to support the generation of reports.  
  • Write accurate minutes and reports.
  • Receive, prioritize, and take action on various incoming correspondence.  
  • Schedule meetings and manage calendars. 
  • Draft and distribute correspondence independently or from general instructions given by a Director. 
  • Coordinate secretarial duties of committee meetings as required.
  • Assist in the preparation of an Annual Budget.
Qualification:
  • BSc Administration (Management option) or equivalent professional qualification from a recognized University.
  • Three (3) years of relevant working experience in a similar role.
  • Not more than 40 years.

Skills/Attributes/Competencies:
  • Ability to handle various financial and administrative support-related tasks with little or no supervision.
  • Must have a high level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in the English Language.  
  • Strong interpersonal skills, approachable and polite. 
  • Strong organizational ability and outstanding problem-solving skills with the capacity to establish systems that improve office management and workflow. 
  • Excellent computer literacy skills including Word and Excel.
