The Forum for African Women Educationalists (FAWE), in collaboration with the Mastercard Foundation and the Akenten Appiah-Menka University of Skills Training and Entrepreneurial Development (AAMUSTED), is pleased to announce the availability of scholarships for the 2024/2025 academic year.
This initiative is aimed at supporting women, individuals with disabilities, and marginalized groups who meet the requirements and have been accepted into designated programmes at AAMUSTED.

• 2-year Diploma in Wood Technology
• 2-year Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering
• 2-year Diploma in Architecture and Digital Construction
• 2-year Diploma in Welding and Fabrication Technology
• 2-year Diploma in Automotive Technology
• 2-year Diploma in Mechanical Technology
• 2-year Diploma in Fashion Design and Textiles
• 2-year Diploma in Catering and Hospitality
• 2-year Diploma in Information Technology
• 2-year Diploma in Cyber Security and Digital Forensics

The deadline for submitting applications aligns with the end of AAMUSTED’s application form sales.
How and Where to Submit Applications
Applicants must submit completed application forms either in person at any District Education Office in the programme regions mentioned or via email at:fawe@fawegh.org

Eligibility Criteria
To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must:
• Be aged between 15-25 years at the time of application.
• Have sat for the West African Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (WASSCE) in 2021, 2022, or 2023.
• Have gained admission to any of the specified programs at AAMUSTED.
• Be from the Northern, Northeast, Oti, Savannah, Upper East, Upper West, or Volta Regions in Ghana.
• Have attended Senior High School in the aforementioned regions.
• Have sat the WASSCE outside their birth regions but within the specified regions.
• Not be a current beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme.
• Be willing to contribute to their communities through development service.
• Pass a selection interview.
Important Notes
Application forms are provided free of charge, and no fees, facilitation, or intermediaries are required at any stage of the selection process.
Applicants are advised to carefully read and understand the application guidelines before completing the form.
Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for an interview.
