The Ghana Immigration Service has announced the commencement of its 2024 recruitment process for individuals who expressed interest and applied to join the service in 2021.
Interested and qualified Ghanaians who previously applied in 2021 are invited to submit their details for consideration.

Applicants who are still interested and qualified are requested to submit the following information:
- Full Name
- Date of Birth
- Place of Birth
- Reference Number/Tracking Number/PIN (as at 2021)
- Current Phone Number
- Current Email Address
- Previous Screening Center
- Qualification

General Requirements:
• Must be a Ghanaian by birth
• Must be of good character
• Must not have any criminal record
• Must not have been dismissed from any public service or other employment
• Must be at least 18 years old and not older than 28 years

• Must be at least 5 feet 8 inches (173cm) tall for males and 5 feet 4 inches (163cm) tall for females
• Must be physically and medically fit according to Ghana Immigration Service standards
• Must have obtained a minimum of five passes in SSSCE/WASSCE including Mathematics and English as at 01/12/2021
• Must be ready to undergo basic Immigration training and other forms of training
Specific Requirements for Graduate General Duty:
• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree (at least Second-Class Lower Division) from a recognized university as at 01/12/2021
• Must not be older than 35 years
Specific Requirements for HND Holders:
• Must have an HND in any field of study from a recognized Polytechnic or Tertiary Institution accredited by the Ghana Accreditation Board as at 01/12/2021
• Must not be older than 35 years
Specific Requirements for Diploma Holders:
• Must have a Diploma in any field of study from a recognized Polytechnic or Tertiary Institution accredited by the Ghana Accreditation Board as at 01/12/2021
• Must not be older than 35 years
Enlistment Process:
- Successful applicants will be contacted for the next phase of the exercise.
- This will be followed by body selection and inspection of all relevant documents (birth certificates, academic certificates, and transcripts). Applicants who qualify for the next stage will be notified at the screening center.
- Successful applicants will undergo medical examination and thorough background checks. Vetting of certificates will be conducted throughout the process and may continue during employment.
- Applicants who successfully pass all stages and are found to have no undesirable background/criminal record will be invited to commence training.
Important Notes:
• Applicants are responsible for their own transportation, feeding, and accommodation throughout the recruitment exercise.
• Applicants will bear the cost associated with vetting and medical examination.
