Using a variety of teaching techniques and modeling effective behavior. To facilitate learning in the classroom, a teacher must first become a facilitator of learning. This means that the teacher must take on a new role and approach to teaching.

The goal is to help learners learn by exploring and discovering information on their own.

Ways A Teacher Can Facilitate Learning In The Classroom include;

  1. Establishing a positive environment. This means creating an atmosphere where learners feel comfortable and safe to ask questions, make mistakes and learn from their mistakes.
  2. By providing support and guidance. By providing support, the teacher can help learners understand the material and be successful in the classroom.
  3. Encourage participation. This means encouraging all learners to voice their opinions and participate in class discussions.
  4. Establishing a positive relationship with learners. The teacher can facilitate learning in the classroom by establishing a positive relationship with their learners.

Tips for Teachers to become more effective

  1. Know that students are different. They Possess different qualities, strengths, and weaknesses.
  2. There are different teaching and learning styles for different types of students.
  3. Use examples that students can relate to in trying to get them to understand what you teach them.
  4. Help students to form positive habits.
  5. Do not embarrass students in the presence of their peers.
  6. Use praise at the right time.
  7. Good teachers are open-minded and listen to students.
  8. Build a class spirit and encourage unity and friendship among students.
  9. Collaborate with other teachers to work efficiently.
  10. Be patient with students and have a sense of humor
